Ad Free Surfing / Membership Subscription (4 Comments) (4 Comments)
October 10th, 2009 |You’ll notice some small issues in the site at the moment with the images. That’s due to a new comicpress manager and widgets AND most importantly – Frumph who made a widget just for me.
Well.. he’s made several widgets here just for me and helped me with all of this.
So NOW – I can offer AD FREE READING for all of Cyantian.net for the introductory rate of $5 for three months! (Yes, you can stack that for $5 each additional three months.) That will cover ALL of Cyantian.net. No more ads! Should speed up the time and if you offer me suggestions on some membership only things you’d like, I might just do them. I’m going to try to think of something, but not too much. I really feel bad about offering things behind a pay gate that aren’t available to the general reader – but am fine with putting up stuff that’s from the books.
These are the things you need to do:
Create an account here.
Use paypal, send me a check, a gift card or something that has $5 on it. Use the donation chipin on the left side of the page if need be. NOTE your login name. I will send you an email back after I’ve activated your account with the expiration date.
Login when you visit the site – no more ads! Fewer worries for me! No more stupid layer ads driving you and me nuts! (I still have to surf with the ads on, mind you.
I’m fine making that sacrifice because it’s easier for me to see if there’s a problem for the non members.)

Hi there. I was wondering if there was some trick to using this on Firefox? I registered, but when I try logging in on FF3 I get a blank white page, nothing more, and can only view the site logged in in the evil that is IE.
I’m using Firefox without a problem.
Do you have security settings getting in the way? I found IE had some security issues, but it’s probably just up to what your server is doing. It should stabilize shortly and then no more problems – at least that’s been the case for me when I make big changes to the site. Try clearing your cache.

Oh that’s really nice… I hit enter in my admin area to reply and it actually told me I can’t post because this comment is too similar to a previous one I made!
I’m the admin, darnit, you will listen to ME!
Ah… clearing the cache worked
