  1. Uh-oh. Rama’s foxes. This is not good. Then again, seing what just happened to that Shivae, I have a feeling the cubs won’t go easily….unless the foxes have Darius and Vin captured, in which case their paws may be forced. Eager to see the next update.

    1. I don’t know, a large part of battle is picking your fights. Fighting a bunch of enemies while surrounded and one of your guys is wounded is not a good fight to pick.

  2. “We have our own problems to deals with.”

And Brody did say “(the sirac) is near Sheana and the others with a lot of foxes.” Perhaps it was about now that Brody tried to check up on this group. Or maybe it was/will be a little later.

Either way, I don’t think Kel is going to try to fight.

    1. Also, I really like the art/perspective work on this page. It just screams both “we’re surrounded” and “Tiff knows perspective very well.” at the same time.

      1. I agree; very nice perspective work.
I also find it interesting that the four foreground foxes appear to be standing while the five in the background are crouching. Ringleaders in the foreground and muscle in the background?

  3. I count nine… Dunno if Vin can handle two, but the rest should run in screaming terror from what is likely soon to be a mightily peeved-off Celina.

  4. Why are the fox posing like that? Are they readying for a pounce, using an obscure fighting technique, or bowing to some big bad that’s not in frame yet?

    1. I think it’s a “ready to pounce/dodge” stance, but I could be wrong.

Eboreg: That’s why I think Kel won’t be fighting.

Iron Ed: The silhouetted ones could be standing, or there could be a rise in the ground under them.

Also, one detail that I’d missed before is the nice little touch that Kel is looking backward out of the corner of his eye.

  5. Squid! Not good.
Celina definitely looks less likely to fight here, for some reason…

  6. SPARTANs could get out of this.

Then again, these cubs aren’t SPARTANs.
