Rama might have shielded his lifts so their power sources can’t be detected in which case this could get ugly very quickly. What exactly are Rama and Syrys’s CSV’s again and how good of commanders/soldiers are they?
wow… I would expect them to build them with some sort of backup/emergency startup power sources, so that they can run while the main power gets going.. Just seems like you’d be standing around with your pants down a LOT like that.
Rama plan will probably be uncomplicated, simple, and evil. If I was Rama I would use the 100 or so unarmored infantry to pin down and delay an advancing enemy. Then I would simply slip away in the middle of the carnage. Rama gets his cost effective solution while enjoying the bloody scenery.
From a practical & emotionally detached viewpoint, hardware is more expensive and harder to replace than lives.
As neither Rama nor Syrys are idiots, this is going to be a blood bath. Hopefully it will be enough of a distraction for the cubs to at least get underground. We have confirmation on everyone but Vin & co’s safety right about now. But even one life in danger is one life that can be used to still the calvary’s guns.
With all the guessing and hints and stuff floating around, I’m wondering if Rama’s end-game includes blowing up the entire facility, with his own people still there, in Syrys’ face. 🙁
Clever, draw in the enemy with your own troops then set off a nuke(or the Cyantian equivalent) when the advancing troops enter ground zero. You destroy all their fancy power armor, mechanized units, and personnel with one swoop.

“No plan survives contact with the enemy.” Syrys likely expects this and is prepared to go in against ready defenses that know he’s coming.
