  1. Whoa, I wonder what happened to that poor gold kit

  2. I imagine we’re looking at what happens to minions who dare question Rama?

  3. Whoa, that looks like it hurt. Can Wolf medical technology fix that?

    1. Redkitsune: If I had to guess, and I will anyway, I’d guess “fire”. It was probably punishment for stepping out of line.

Frozenshade: By the time of Campus Safari, yes. It’s a matter of growing the skin needed for skin/fur grafts. And either a replacement cybernetic eye, or a grown test tube eye.

      1. Really, Rama’s default punishment for stepping out of line is to maim his help and make them less effective? That has got to be the dumbest idea possible. ‘You failed to get me my tea on time because you tripped, so I’m going to take one of your eyes and destroy your depth perception so it will be harder for you to avoid this mistake in the future’.

        1. Sorry, I wasn’t implying that you or anyone else real is dumb, Hariman, just that I hope Rama isn’t.

        2. “Make an example of the first one to step out of line in a brutal enough fashion, and you don’t have to do it again.” Is Rama’s philosophy when it comes to discipline.

It’s quite evil, cruel, and it makes your workforce hate you, but it’s effective when you’re using children as slaves as they’re usually intimidated enough to not argue after someone gets hurt like this.

        3. About the only method worse is to leave the offender intact and harm some poor innocent who had the misfortune to be nearby, then calmly “inform” the out-of-line person “Do you see this? This isn’t because of me. This, this is YOUR fault. You caused this. You brought harm to this person. It’s your responsibility.” This is psychologically savage, and is actually, sadly, used often in terrorist groups as a form of indoctrination.

  4. Oooooookay.

That looks like old injuries and nasty ones at that. Though considering how Rama disposed of his sons mother and her current boy friend, I’m not really surprised that working for Rama has these kinds of dangers.

  5. Poor cub. I hope he ends up getting medical and psychiatric help after all of this is said and done.

  6. ….
    Grrr….

This is the first time I’ve ever wanted to meet a comic character face to face. While that says something about this comic and the way it’s told (character believability), having my protective instincts rasped like this isn’t nice…and woe be to Rama if I were to meet him after seeing something like this – I reserve my ‘evil’ for teaching things like Rama that being nasty has it’s penalties…

  7. I can’t accurately describe how I feel about this page – English doesn’t have enough profanity. Just when I think can’t *possibly* hate Rama any more, he finds a new low.

On a related note, nice work establishing the villain!

  8. *Looks into really good rope, stakes and where the meanest and burniest fire ants can be found*

    1. Rama needs lethally tough love.

      1. I think a bullet in the Skull is what Rama needs.

        1. I’d say that a bullet is too good for Rama, but really, it’s not.

Anything that works is good enough for Rama. After all, he does regenerate while moving, so he’s not easy to kill by normal means.

        2. *One* bullet? Forget that. Do this instead:

          1. Get a Desert Eagle and five hollowpoint rounds chambered for such a weapon.

          2. Put a bullet in each of Rama’s legs, then one in each of his arms. This will immobilize him and neutralize his regenerative capabilities. (I’d reckon that this needs to be done rather quickly, though.)

          3. Blow his brains out with the fifth bullet.

        3. Right, I should shove a Stick grenade down his throat.

Wonder how he´s regenerating with his head blown off. >;3

        4. twelve gauge to the face.

        5. To those below who think to kill Rama – no. For one thing, it’s the easy way out for him. 2) the dead cannot learn lessons. As for the above, being able to heal quickly can make the ‘teaching’ process easier – you can really be ‘enthusiastic’ in the teaching. Though to be honest, using such brutal methods only lowers one to the same level as the one being taught. Though sometimes, on particularly recalcitrant students, it can take some physical distress to begin the learning process – then it becomes more mental/psychological. But seriously, death is not the answer – it’s just the easy way. I’d rather do things right than easy, myself.

        6. hmm… What would you think of mental reprogramming? If you let him live, with the mind he has, he would try to escape and do the same things again to get back to where he was before.. force a new mind into him, and he’d be your best friend.

        7. K Fox: There’s one word I’d use to describe Rama, were I asked to use a single word.

          “Irredeemable”.

I’d compare Rama to a rabid dog, but I don’t want to insult the dog. A rabid dog has an excuse. Rama doesn’t.

        8. It’s been said that tasers can be a form of torture. It’s also been said that overusing a taser will kill. You see where I’m going with this?

        9. Bullets? Seriously? I’d think Rama would have already encountered silver bullets on more than one occasion. When he was on your planet terrorizing your livestock.

The damage to that kit’s mind seems more serious. The next page reveals more of what he sees. He sees a chance for freedom but he’s too afraid to go for it. Somehow I don’t think we’ll see him again… more than once.

  9. Hey look, it’s Two-Face!

In all seriousness Rama is the perfect example of why long life is really a curse. He was supposed to die centuries ago, I just wish someone would fix that problem.

  10. Poor Kit. Ut is sad that Rama treats his servants in such a cruel way.

  11. Holy crap! Rama is even sicker than I thought.

  12. Ow! Poor guy! The fact that he can live with that and still feel something for the kids in his care really says a lot for him. That damage looks like he’s probably in more-or-less constant pain.

That -looks- like something accidental, but you never know with Rama. It looks like he was also left to live or die on his own with minimal, or no, medical care after it happened too. He’s lucky (so far!) that eye socket hasn’t gotten infected and killed him; probably slowly and very painfully.

    🙁 🙁 🙁

  13. loboron the wolftaur

-just remains quiet, eyes narrow in rage. then, with telekinetic bonds stronger than steel, binds Rama and holds him still. then inserts a thin tube into his butt. begins a slow, steady pumping of the strongest, most concentrated acid into his organs-

  14. It’s fascinating how fast you all jump to conclusions…

    1. ? What conclusions? I see mostly speculations and, well deserved, death threats against Rama. 🙂
