  1. Sometimes, I hate being right.

I’ve got a feeling that most of the main cast is going to hate bounty hunters by adulthood. And not just for this incident.

  2. I’m hoping something is pulled out of the hat that saves/calms the horse, and gets the girl out at the same time.

  3. wait… who hired the bounty hunter… and the situation has just become slightly more grim… Hopefully Darrik and Vin suddenly get very good persuasive skills and use them openly…. Or Quinn regains enough conscientiousness to hold back the horse…. If those don’t happen I’m about to be very unhappy with a certain technomage……

  4. I guess it’s not the sort of bounty where it’s worth more alive. 😛

  5. Do I have to be the one to say it? *sigh* Ok, I will, but I protest….

    “Fox, The Bounty Hunter”

And the only people I see helping the horse at this point would be either Quinn, or Syrys/The King happening along. If Quinn does get her awareness back, then that would be one interesting duel. Trained technomage against pure raw power.

  6. Power enough to do both? Didn’t think so. Only hope is if Quinn can Teleport other people.

  7. Ah yes the contract, not many people follow them anymore, except they’re legal consultants attempting to find a loophole.

  8. She/he (not sure yet) reminds me of the doctor from the original Star Trek. I bet the bounty hunter will say the following after seeing the injured fox: “I’m a bounty hunter, not a doctor.”

  9. Hmm interesting, quinn verse technomage would be rather cool =P I doubt she can teleport others though, wouldn’t that require tremendous energy? I’m betting more on another Darrik lights display =P

  10. I wonder when the hunting party will show up to save the day.

  11. It’s not really the hunting party that matters. It’s the King of the Realm within the hunting party that brings the real weight to bear. 😉

Nothing says “Leave, and never return.” like a King glaring at you.

Of course, Quinn can teleport others through her special little realm. So that could be another way of saying “BEGONE!!”

  12. I’m thinking Quinn’s hurting head means that she’s done for the evening. She seemed awake last time we saw her. Just, in a great deal of pain.
The sudden arrival of more help is likely the only thing likely to save the horse’s bacon right now. The arrival of Syrys and the King would be very useful just now.

  13. Here come the cavalry. Literally.

  14. Are you SURE you can’t use both hands?
