Sorry for the ... mess. T clarify, since people are missing this - Kerie's nose is visible, head tilted up and back. Snap back was to indicate a blow stronger than a bear's which immediately broke her neck. She THOUGHT she might last longer, but in her weakened condition it didn't happen. Sooo, she likely didn't feel a thing.
Today's my hubby and I's 13th wedding anniversary. :)

I don’t think she expected that as Rama’s response. Vin now knows beyond the shadow of a doubt that Rama is an evil, murdering dratsad that deserves neither love nor respect.

From the look on her face in the last page, I’m pretty sure she knew exactly what was coming…she died to give them a chance…and if they don’t take that gift, and do as Kerie said, I am going to find a way to jump into this computer screen and shut Vin’s tail in a door!

Worse yet, Rama’s hardly even looking at Kerie as he does this.
This isn’t just punishment for Kerie, it’s also a message to Vin that Rama isn’t going to take no for an answer. 🙁

I do not means to be….um..negative? but….Vin actually getting to have a fling (even off screen) with the 2 girls was seen as…um..not good…but Rama ripping the young girls face off bloodily… I see this a lot, I’d like to see something more with les of the make me cringe at the brutality :/

I guess I was right. She really did have about as much success as wet tissue paper.
You know, when you look at Rama’s claws, theirs more of a similarity to cats then just the fact that their retractable. They also have that sharp pointed scythe shape that cats have. Rama didn’t just tear out her throat or face…maybe both…he cut through her like a hot knife through butter.

That also gives you a clue to what kind of a monster Vin is son too. I would not have thought an open handed strike could deliver that kind of force. Stronger then a bear swipe, Rama has been keeping himself in shape. Are most wolfs of adult age this strong?

Wow, I was…not expecting that. There’s been blood and violence in the Cyantian stories before, but usually more off-screen. Not sure what I was expecting, though. Given the amount of blood on Rama’s claws, I’d assume Kerie didn’t survive that for more than a moment. :/ I guess I’m a happily-ever-after sort of person, hoping that all the good guys make it out alive. (Odd that I like Tengen-Toppa Gurren Lagann then, huh?)

Rama cares less about Kerie than a tiger would care about a tree to sharpen it’s claws on. It only takes one swipe from a massive paw to shred her face completely, possibly even cutting bone.. she’s probably instantly dead now.

Finally the baddies doing something else other than failing quick! Not entirely sure what she was expecting to happen, moving in front of the Worst Known Person (TM) like that. Heck, she was already written off, considering he is about to blow the whole place to hell anyway… talking of which, they really should all be considering her last advice.

Yeesh. I’ve only ever seen a couple of things as graphic as this, one of which being why Camden(is that the right name?) lost his forleg in Shivae. On a side note, it’s not as graphic as some of the things I’ve seen on Jack. Still, RUN VIN! RUN MELODY! DONT JUST STAND THERE! I’ve said my piece :/

I think I’ve been watching too many movies with blood spray. 😀 I wanted emphasis without gore of how brutal Rama is, just further reinforcement. I promise I will not show anything more gruesome or cringworthy than this… I think.. if I do, I haven’t planned it right now, but anytime Rama shows up, someone may end up bleeding.. but likely not losing their heads. I don’t like decapitations or… slicing of heads.

Ahhh Jack. I rather liked reading that, and also using it as ‘shock material’ for certain people I know. Very gory, but I really like the way he does things. 😉 But is not Jack, though I wonder what he’d do with Rama when the time comes…I do know what I’d like to do to Rama right now, so I guess its good that I can’t – no sense in getting in trouble with the law for vengeance.

Well I think that certainly highlights his ‘complete monster’ status, killing someone who compared to him was completely harmless and could have been easily rendered unconscious. Sad seeing her die. 🙁

Is it just me, or is that possibly the first actual violence we have seen in this entire series? Heck, maybe even this entire timeline, no matter the comic series? Because not only is that bunny girl HORRIFIED, along with Vincent, but that was a HECK of a mean punishment. Along with the fact that the fox girl was a bit of an idiot right there. I mean, who in their right mind tries to run from three big armed wolves from right in front of them when there is plenty of space between them, and thus plenty of time, to react and stop her? And who in their right mind does that while yelling “RUN” at the top of their lungs making it completely obvious what she plans to do?
