I don’t think Filaire will try to control Vincent, other than maybe being the boss until he gets back to Syrys’s forces or Centralis itself. She wouldn’t benefit very much by trying to control his future since to her its rather irrelevant to her own survival. But your right, it is time for Vincent to process everything that’s happened to him lately and this is his perfect chance.
She could indeed use such company. I’m sure Vin is a bit wary of her, seems how she was just working for Rama, from his experience. Though her invitation to run, her confronting Rama, and the changed look definitely would have him realizing that she’s not the same evil minion he knew a few panels back.

Probably for the better, as he’ll get some much needed time of independence and freedom from anyone trying to control his life.
Well, Filaire might have plans of her own for Vin, but I suspect Vin will be wise enough by then to catch on and avoid being manipulated.
Plus, Filaire might be better for spending time with someone as kindhearted as Vin.
