Unless I miss my guess, which is a distinct possibility, Quinn is probably capable of blocking out what she “hears” from the upper floors. After all, she was the one that helped Collin block out other people’s thoughts so he could relax.
However, I don’t think Quinn can completely block out the thoughts of the other. (Or that she would even want to, considering the information that can be gleaned by scanning the upper floors.) Or she can’t block out what she’s hearing through Collin and from Collin.
Either way, it does not make for a happy Quinn right now.
