There was an error while upgrading the forum software and a mismatch between the database and the actual software. It's stuck on one part and I can't go any further at the moment. Nothing has been lost, it's just stuck.
Next month, Akaelae will begin updating on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Additional updates will be added for every $50 donated/collected via the store up to two a week/8 a month.
At the moment, $320 is the actual base for the chipin, but I can't set the base. I'm EXTREMELY grateful, because that's pretty much the overall total for everything this month and without it, I wouldn't have been able to buy groceries and put gas in my car. Now I need to clean up a huge deficit in this month's earnings (husband's check was much lower than it should've been, ad company has missed a payment and stupid Verizon decided to overcharge me by $100, which I'll get back next month. Lot of good that does me THIS month. 9.9 Then there's the woman who had our phone number before us who ORDERED services on our Verizon account that have raised our monthly rate. Got all that stuff sorted out and cancelled, but they're taking their time refunding the amount they overcharged in the meantime.

If you’ve read the previous comics, you’ll know that they’ve been in contact with Earth for a while but haven’t publicly revealed themselves yet. However, there are indications that they’ve been interfering with technological advancement.
