Its like watching Captain Titus and his Ultramarines in Space Marine, I swear. Only there’s a lot less blood and epic heroes charging into battle since these Mooks are smart and not attacking the clearly superior warriors. Dang it, now I want to play Space Marine.
On the other hand, it sounds like the bomb’s going off already. Syrys, you need to go faster, otherwise there won’t be anyone left for you to show off how awesome you are! Seriously, those troopers show up with their mighty Engines of War, flying battleship, and Syrys at their lead and we don’t get to see what they can do? I know that’s not really in the grain for this comic, but I wanted to see some action on their part.

Hopefully there’ll be some, tho at the same time, I think that Tiff’s original plans for this have changed due to her characters once again deciding to do something else than she planned for them. 😉
There’s some reason to this measured pace, especially if you remember this is Syrys we’re talking about, and how much of a scary legend he is for the Fox. Frozen in panic are better than running in panic.
Said that, I too would expect running in at full speed the powered assist allows. Sometimes I think I’ll never get used to Wolf tactics. 😉

So Wolf tactics are are to be slow and steady and rely on their fear factor? Really? I suppose it works here, but that sort of thinking is just begging you to get lured into an ambush. I an think of a dozen ways to smartly beat an enemy relying on that and I’m not even in the actual military!
Though to be fair, it doesn’t look like the Fox are going to put up a fight right now at any rate. So as for right now the Wolf force’s tactics are vindicated. For now, at least.

I suspect that’s the tactic for this particular situation, a camp full of irregulars and slaves with only a couple decent fighters.

I have a feeling that Syrys won’t like whatever he finds at Rama’s old base.
Considering he’s meeting all the kids, he’s probably been getting a pretty good idea how Rama has been treating some of these people.

I wish! No; Apple belongs to Renessa. My OC does not appear in Darius. (I hadn’t dealt with having an OC long enough, or known Tiff well enough, at the time cameos were offered to really understand what I was passing up here! 🙁 )

Ah yes, how could I forget this scene, you know, the one that I took as proof that the Cyantians don’t have decent ranged weapons. Because Syrys would have been making himself absolutely irresistible to snipers/sharpshooters/skirmishers otherwise.
