That’s very egotistical of Rama. The hole in that line of thought is that Either A: Syrys and Alpha were hiding this from Darius, Kel and the others, or B: Darius and the others were in on it.
Either way, it brings everybody’s kindness into question, especially Sheana and Celina.
Also, I think Vin is the type to remember that people can bend to truth to their own advantage, whether they realize it or not.

Actually, I think they didn’t want to have anyone they knew, especially Vin, have anything to do with Rama. For any reason.

Probably not, but he has to be thinking that it’s a bad idea to call BS on somebody like Rama.
