I didn’t think of it like that. Filaire’s got a point, too, as this whole mess has proven that Rama can overcome the Wolf’s security measures and capture all the cubs. There’s going to be a major overhaul of their procedures now, but the Wolves can’t guarantee that Rama won’t succeed again. Going back to Akaelae Towers does mean that, though its the biggest fortress on the planet, its still wide in the open. Vincent won’t be invisible there. Huh, this is quite the pickle he’s in here.

Very good argument.. I would hope that if he does go with Filaire that Syrys will know that he’s ok and that Rama doesn’t have him. After that, it would be safest for him that Syrys doesn’t know where Vin is.

It’s not like Filaire doesn’t have a point, but at the same time, Rama has shown the patients to search for what he wants.
Chances are that Rama could still find Vin if he went with Filaire and Filaire is just one fox.

I think it most likely she just wants to bail out of this whole mess.

Still, going with Filaire isn’t what anybody expected, so she’s got as much of a chance of hiding Vin as anybody. Possibly more, as she already knows a lot of Rama’s assets from working with him.

Hmmm.
It’s ‘Vincent’ now. Not ‘Kit’.
Getting hold of him may give her some leverage both with Rama and the Akaele. She clearly stated she has her own agenda after all and I wonder what she is up to. But at last she is not trying to force him to go along. Considering how well that worked with Rama that may be a smart move and this is an interesting contrast between that wolf and that Vixen.

I’m beginning to think she’s not quite as evil as Rama (a given I know) and the bad fox we’re used to. Probably still bad, but unlike the rest, hope may yet live for her.
This is getting interesting.

Hmmmm. There is one place that Rama doesn’t have easy access to but still has people who would be somewhat understanding of their situation. Earth, specifically the Black Fox Hunting Preserve off the Gulf of Mexico.

Earth, Fox Lands, Avistary, Rabbit Territories, the Northern territories. There are actually a lot of places that Filaire could hide Vin and herself from Rama that aren’t Akaelae held territory.

Umm.. Hopefully they’ll stay out of Fox territory for a few more years.
