It’s called a Ridgeback. Its back is plated with a very tough armor that’s formed from hair. It rises up in a ridge in the middle. The horns on its sides are a defensive feature that keeps larger predators like scythetails from taking them down. Scythetails lack the ability to clear the horns without impaling themselves and even if they did, they’d find it impossible to kill a Ridgeback from the back. Even Shivae would have a difficult time killing one because of that tail, which can be wielded with deadly accuracy. They also tend to like to try to catch large predators up against something and scissor them with the way their horns and plates stick out on the side. This is a female. Males tend to have even more impressive arrays of horns. They also come in woolier forms. The hair is normally shorn early in the spring before it falls out for the much shorter summer fur. They use the hair to make cloth from.

That looks like a much more convenient way to travel than others we’ve seen in Genoworks Saga.
I wonder who these three are? And I wonder if the creature they’re riding on is a pack animal or one of the other experiments.
