I drew this one awhile ago..a LONG while ago. If I were to draw it again and I likely will, the armor will be more refined.
Cyantian style hockey does not involve sticks. It involves kicking a puck like item and ricocheting it off obstacles and armor. ;)
And as an added note: I'm starting a Wallpaper War. From right now, a donation of $5+ will NOMINATE a character, any character you want, for a wallpaper. This is only good until I have 4 characters in the running!

Do they have a different concept of hockey there… obviously with the gear but I figure it could be a different type of padding that also serves as like a jersey/sweater…..
Now I just made me miss watching hockey games every weekend…. I WANT IT TO BE THE LAST WEEK IN SEPTEMBER SO I CAN WATCH HOCKEY AGAIN! Men’s or Women’s. 😛

Even though it looks bulky it probably weighs next to nothing
They must have a VERY different concept of hockey then we do.

Tho I imagine the hanging fabric could be a bit of a hazard, and those pads only make it more so – get pinched in the knee joint, for example, and you’ll go flying. Those overlapping joints also create an additional hazard for long hair and tails… oh, their poor tails; I imagine that’s a common point of injury for them in general.
On a tangent, I can’t imagine helmets being too popular there, however – an accepted necessity, of course, but I’ve yet to see an anthro-style helm(anywhere) that covers the whole head without seriously restricting the ears’ range on motion, if not keeping them stationary. In part because it would prolly look absurd. :p

It looks nothing like Mjolnir*. At all. o.0 …Unless you think all sci-fi-type armour-thingies look alike. :p
They’re also strap-on pads, not a lift.
