And yes, there’s been some evidence that Vin can effect the weather – if so, whoa, that’s some serious power, and is likely only a sample of what he can potentially do. Sheana is a puzzle – so she “shines”, but whatever it is, is hidden. And whatever Mercial is getting paid is not enough if she has to teach Quinn some discipline — kinda like trying to teach dynamite not to explode so loudly. However, Quinn has taken a few knocks this time – so she may be more willing to listen.
How do you discipline someone who can fly and basically teleport? If she decides to leave your powerless to keep her there short of making her ride an upset horse who knocks her out….
Darrik and Vin not having control is no surprise but what secrets does Sheana hold… perhaps her abilities just haven’t started to manifest themselves yet or she hasn’t had sufficient need for them yet… soon enough we shall see.
Lorenith: Quinn’s behavior might not be much better but her control over her own abilities probably is. Nothing says “sit down shut up and concentrate” like the question “Do you really want to risk hurting your friends and family because you didn’t practice a little?”
KJ Fellie: Real time or comic time? Either way, we’ve got the upcoming outdoor surprise and possibly a little bit longer, so it’s gonna be a while.
Darrik just now manifested his abilities for the first time. And of course, being based on energy projection, they will be a danger until controlled.
As for Vin, I’ve not kept up with his abilities as much. All I recall is that he has some genetic elite abililities from Rama, and retractable claws from his feline side. But weather manipulation includes very powerful and dangerous potential. Storm has long been one of the more dangerous of the X-Men after all.
And we’ve always known Quinn has long since been able to control her abilities fairly easily, and enjoys practicing their use frequently without being asked. The discipline lies not in controlling the abilities, but is better determining when and how to use those abilities morally, ethically, and socially. The hardest part will be in training herself to NOT use them during times they are available but ought not be used.
I suspect Sheana’s abilities could be largely be passive-type abilities, including rapid healing and and enhanced physical stats. Such abilities could be both powerful and internal.

Darrik is dangerous, no surprise there, anyone who can shoot energy bolts from their eyes uncontrollably is dangerous.
We have always suspected that vin may be able to control weather.
