The possibilities are finite, but varied. It’s likely that Rama used all of them at one time or another.
It gives me chills thinking of the lengths that Rama will go to in his desire to secure another generation of elites to use as weapons and lieutenants. I have a few guesses as to how he’ll start, but I don’t even like thinking of them. 🙁
Aye, it doesnt bare thinking about. But as Raksha said to Shere Khan “Look you, oh killer of little naked cubs. Frog eater! One day he will hunt you.” (Chuck Jone’s version was the best, I think, in potraying that 🙂 ). No matter how much he tries to sway these cubs, particularly Darius and Celina, they will eventually fight back. So, it is rather foolish of Rama trying to capture the cubs.
Nicholas: I can see Rama trying to establish himself as a replacement father for Celina. The girl who’s sworn repeatedly that nobody will replace her father.
TerataNeyeri: It’s all going to come back to the fact that he had to kidnap them to have a chance at convincing them. Well, that and the fact that he is a scumbag of the highest order.
That was my thought entirely. Vin may, for a few minutes, be tempted. But the first to show him any kindness in all his short years was Darius. He loved his mother, yes, but she still allowed him to be hurt and starve. So, his first priority is going to be to the gang. Rama is really going to regret trying to convince these cubs. He doesn’t know what he’s dealing with >:)

I don’t know… Rama might have any number of futuristic brain probing methods, including a certain evil Sirac.

True. Very true. I expect there’s going to be some mandatory therapy for the cubs after this. But Syrys and Alpha already have good Siracs and technomages on their side.
I’m reasonably sure that they’ll escape without too much mental, emotional or physical damage.
It’s probably still gonna hurt them at some point though. 🙁
