3. Panting cheetah courier running in 4. All heads turned. -------------------------------------------------------- Obviously... I didn't stick to the script. Today's cameos are from top to bottom, left to right: Nekette, Eset's tail, Pouncetta and Bastet. Then you have poor Thellie about to lose the tea!

    Ka-ZOOM! She’s in a spot of hurry – wonder what she has to tell their Majesties? And where has Quinn been all this while? Maybe she’s just been “off camera”, but trouble and Quinn seem to go together. We haven’t seen the princesses at dinner yet either.

    Well now, I recognize a Nekette, a Bastet and a Thellie. But who’s this mysterious feline of the faux ninja garb? She’s even got the requisite knife on her thigh to fake being a ninja. 😉

    Oh, I get the feeling that Eset ducked.

    Very good, that is Eset’s tail. 😉 And I hadn’t had time to add the text yet, but that is Pouncetta… hopefully. 😀 She looks drastically different from the drawing and I may’ve messed up on her head. 0.o but the next panels are good. Of course.. the tigress in the next update really steals the show because she’s just so … beautiful.

    Seriously, is there a female feline cameo that doesn’t have “et” in her name? They could start a girl band! 😉

    Also, in case I have offended anyone, I meant no offense to fake ninjas with my last post. Nor did I mean to offend real ninjas. Or the really good faders either. Where was I? Oh yes, muffins. Yummy muffins! 😉 😉

    Pouncetta must have used her ninja distraction ability, I should have spotted that myself. And I think Thellie would be the manager of that band.

    Not only does Pouncetta have the requisite ninja knife on her thigh but, in case you missed it, she has one on her arm too.

    Let me see if this is straight, I only recently started reading this:
    Vin is at a feast, several cameos, presumably contest winners, and all of a sudden a cheetah girl runs by. right?

    It has gotten a little confusing lately. It seems that somewhere between the end of the conversation with Vin/Sheana/Darrik about “baby dragons!” we’ve made it to dinner. There seems to be either dancing kitty girls (Eset, Nekette, Bastet) as entertainment or very enthusiastic guests and a server (Thellie, sole known exception to the “female feline, “et” present in name” cameo character rule) who have all been rudely interrupted and nearly trampled by Pouncetta, who seems to be some kind of cheetah ninja with scarves that draw envy. Or attention.

    Also, Ly (Pitch Black wolf, gold eyes.) and Zephyr (Dark Gray wolf, white on the right side of his face/head.) have also made cameo appearances.

    And I’m pretty sure we just had the “lighten the mood” comic relief pop in during the “serious character building internal monologue” before “news which causes something interesting to happen” just occurred. If that makes any sense to anyone other than me.

    Hey, I wonder what Thellie had on that tray?

    Beats me. I’ve never had (much) trouble keeping it all straight. My best guess is that the sudden appearance of the cameo characters threw some people off.

    Again: Cameos are just background people with actual names. 😉 There were going to be Cyantians there anyway, I just opened it up for people to get them via donation for a short time. The thing is, when I took them by donation I decided to spend more time on drawing and coloring them than I normally would have. 😉 They are not going to be central characters. They’re just there to look pretty and make their owners happy. 🙂

    I should have been more precise. It’s not really the cameos, it’s the circumstances that they’re being introduced in. I think it’s how the story jumped from Darrik, Sheana and Vin to dinner prep to dancing kitty girls to Vin woolgathering at dinner to dancing girls and server getting near trampled that’s throwing people off.

    It is kinda jarring to transfer scenes so fast. Not that I mind.

    I like how Thellia takes the place of the stubby clumsy waiter who is oblivous to everything because she loves her job way too much. Also, Bastet seems to be a little wimpy for being named after the Cat Goddess. Her sister seems more like the terrifying Cat Goddess than one named after her! XD
