Comics will begin updating again on Monday for the full week. I'll have the tallies updated soon. I'm in a bit of a bind due to Wowio not paying me on time. It's been three weeks now and they have NOT paid me. This was one of the things I was worried about when Platinum took over and it why I do not desire to deal with them anymore. This has caused a LOT of stress. :/ Stress that interferes with work. :/
Akaelae will be moving to MWF updates with a black and white comic updating alongside it for the next month as a result of last month's donations. The drive for this month has begun, I'll update the tallies as soon as I can.

Ahhh! This morning when I left Covington, Akaelae was #54 on buzzcomix and ahead of 55 by five votes. Now its back to 55 and down by seven votes from 54. 🙁

Well, I’m assuming (with all it’s inherent risks) that this character is female due to the way that the face and head are drawn. Also, the ears and eyelashes say “female” to me too.
Although word of the Artist could confirm an identity other than “random female cub, all tuckered out”. Either way, she’s still cute.

While I know it’s artistic convention to give females eyelashes and males not, it’s kind of funny to note that in real life males have more prominent eyelashes than females.
Anyway, I’m going to go with female fox, even ignoring the large ears, a lot of her foxes tend to have those neat little ear spots on them. I’ve never seen any wolves with them though.

its tail doesnt look the most fox like to me it reminds me more of daricks tail if it grew some more of its fur back, maybe its darrick, maybe the females decided to pull a prank on him and pretty him up lol. just a possibility, the clothes do look like his

It’s tail is much too long to be anything other than a foxes, wolves have proportionately shorter tails.

Very true Blackkat. The fact that both I and my sister said “female character” when we looked at it doesn’t take anything away from the quality of the work.
It’s just, those eyes/eyelashes. They look like they’ve had a makeover treatment.
Ah well, it’s still a happy cute lovable all tuckered out and collapsed Khaelis. I just hope someone moves him to a bed soon, otherwise he’ll have the worst backache when he wakes up.

Oh, dear sweet gods! I adore this pic of Khaelis! Makeover or no, I really don’t care, but this makes an already adorable and lovable fox even MORE adorable. He’d hate me for it, but I’d end up snuggling him until forced off!
