Huh, that vixen has a lot of gall. As Sabreur said: you don’t need powers to give nightmares. He easily could leave for a ‘mission’ that he said Filaire ordered just at the moment in time when Darius and Quinn get the cubs out of there. Or any other number of cruel and unusual tricks that only involve intelligence.
I guess his rank isn’t so high as someone thought the other day.
Filaire used intimidation of lower ranking minion. It’s super effective!
Now, said minion jist might fail in his appointed duties out of spite.
For all the foreshadowing and dark undertones given to Kamden, he just isn’t getting enough credit. First, he gets knocked out his first on-screen fight within seconds of entering it, then, he gets taken down a notch or three by this foxy bitch. Honestly, it’s beginning to get a little funny.
I’m guessing they’re roughly equal in status, but Filaire has “gold pride” if you will. She sees Kamden as a subordinate (at best), the way most foxes would look at a Genoworks creation. That’s my take on it, anyway. 🙂
I hope we get to see Quinn encounter Kamden, that would probably be pretty entertaining. So far, Quinn has been nearly invincible, so she probably wouldn’t be shy about popping up in front of him.
Quinn encountering Kamden (Camden?) scares me. We’ve never seen Quinn angry, or desperate, or even just pushed into actually fighting!
Plus, it was mentioned in Genoworks Saga that Collin is powerful, and Quinn moreso. So if Camden thinks he’s got just a little girl to push around, he’s probably in for an unwelcome surprise. The kind that ends in hospitalization if it goes well.
It’s Kamden with a K, look at the last page. The C-group skunks have names starting with C, but Genoworks didn’t name the siracs because they were taken over by the militia, so they don’t have a naming convention.
And yeah, I was referring to the fact that Quinn is very powerful, and probably knows it on some level. I wouldn’t expect Quinn to take much of anything that seriously honestly, she would probably “play” with most foes. Unless someone she cares about is in danger, in which case THAT would be scary.

And that does clear up the confusion on Kamden’s name. It was printed as Camden a while ago, and that stuck with me.
