Yeah it is neat that they walk on all fours, and I think it’s even neater that if they’re going to be running Tiff has the insight to give them braces (like in the picture on the top of the page).
I don’t think many people consider the fact that forearms are not built to take on heavy impacts and could just buckle, but she has it seems.
That kind of attention to detail is awesome and one reason I love these comics to bits..

Aww, it’s already past midnight here. Maybe I’ll just fade into the shadows like a ninja after dropping this comment, then. 😛
I’m wondering what can be creeping after Darrik, and whether we’ll find out about _his_ skills by accident if it’s something scary. Lol, maybe it’s a baby demon horse, and the big one is just trying to find it.
Somehow I really doubt a good compositional decision for this portion of page is in any way related to that.
It doesn’t seem she has gone out of her way to hide things before, I don’t really expect her to start doing it now just because she forgot that foxes have only 3 digits+ a thumb.
@ Lorenith, I didn’t mean to say she didn’t take into consideration her composition, because she obviously did, nor that she felt a need to hide anything, just that I found it notable considering the comments on the subject of Silver’s fingers.
I would never intentionally say, implicitly or explicitly, anything demeaning or derogatory about Tiff’s art or anything about it; I’ve read a lot of webcomics and Shivae Studios is home to some of the best webcomic art I’ve ever seen. I didn’t mean to offend with my statements, and if I did I sincerely apologize.
I know at one point Tiff was using Manga Studio for the comic, but I have not kept up enough to know if she still has it. It may have been on the laptop drive that went poof.
I too like the idea of the Cyantian’s can travel on two or all four paws. I would think it’s difficult to draw an anthro that travels like this without making the arms too long or the legs too short. Hmm… need to study Tiff’s drawing style.
Just a thought, what if the demon horse was not evil but misunderstood. Would be interesting if one of the cubs find him or get trapped with the demon horse and find this out on their own. Now how does a young cub explain to the other cubs or the grownups that the “pony” is not evil? hehe

I’m guessing Tiff uses Photoshop for all of this. I soo need to get it. My pictures always end up looking wierd.
