I agree xeno! There’s a dog near where I live that’s a husky, white german shepard mix that has 1 blue eye and 1 brown eye. Body build was that of a german shepard, fur color was white, and had the temperament of a husky. So it was friendly enough, didn’t try to maul me when I grabbed at its collar to stop it was wandering into the street. I wanted to bring it home with me but…. we had 3 cats at the time…. now we have 4 lol. And still no fence… My family can’t resist rescuing animals. All but one of our cats were strays before we got them. The one we didn’t adopt we got because one of the cats was pregnant when we got her.
Plus the dog had a collar so I located the owner and returned the dog to its owner…. I still wish it was a stray so I could have kept it!
Anywho, back on topic: maybe she’s just trying to not lose momentum in looking for him. I know that when I get distracted by something I’ll stop and chat with someone if I’m given the chance…
Which should be proven by everything else I typed here…

I don’t think Darrik would be surprised to find out that everyone is looking for him….
Yet I don’t think everyone else would be surprised to discover that Silver and Tira didn’t bring him back right away.
