“Go lick yourself!” Is an awesome way to tell someone to put a sock in it/express exasperation ever XD
Also Tif, the banner add for Akaelae (maybe other sites too I haven’t looked yet) is one of those really annoying ones that jumps down and forces you to watch it animate before it moves back into the banner. You seem to like to police your adds for the annoying sort, so I thought just to let you know.
I got tired of those ads myself, but I found my own solution to it. I’m hoping it will help other people, too.
These ads are flash-based, so you can just turn off the flash in your web browser until you really want it. Now some people may not want to do that, or be too lazy to constantly fiddle with it (like me). I’m runing Firefox with a plugin called “Flashblock” I don’t see any flash animations until I decide I want to, by clicking on the icon that replaces the flash animation.
Hope that helps people (And don’t forget to support Tiffany Ross and her comics by either donating or actually following some of those ads)
Hmm the add started mosaicy and then swirled around to a girl sitting in grass with a girl sitting on it. At that point I guess it ended because it suddenly disappeared so I think it ran that add once then tried to change to another one, but flashblocker went “nope” and blocked it. It might have been an add for allergy medicine? I dunno, I’ll set an exception for flash on your website and see what turns up.
I know you need the add money so I don’t block most of your adds out, but flash ones are always just asking to be swatted.

And no, I can’t recall ever having seen Quinn annoyed or mad before now. Celina once berated Quinn to tears in Campus Safari. (Arguably, Quinn probably did need to be told to grow up.) And we saw Quinn stunned at her “Forest Ranger” result on the placement test.
But never angry. I wonder what would happen if someone started teasing her about getting nicknames “Muerte” by calling her death and using quips like “I never knew that death was so pretty!”. Or maybe, “I never thought I’d be happy to look death in the face!”
