Reminds me of being sleep-deprived in med school during a surgery clerkship. We were doing a radiology conference, and one of the images was an angiogram of the circulation feeding the intestines…
“So, which artery is this?”
“Uh…superior mesenteric.” (I was actually right.)
“Are you sure it’s not the inferior mesenteric?” (he was testing me.)
“It’s the superior mesenteric…it’s supplying the small intestine. Inferior mesenteric supplies the large intestine.”
“…go back to sleep.”
