Predicting how Chatin will respond is difficult. She is very intelligent, but still fairly young and inexperienced. I believe that she will be very interested in finding another skunk like her, more so being a male. But given the current situation she is dealing with she will be considerably suspicious of this person that shows up so conveniently, saying they are to help her. And more then likely Chatin will be angry and hostile to Clive once she learns just who he is and did NOT approach her openly. Because you must remember the Cyantians are a young society and are open and trusting of each other on their home world. Earth is something completely different.
What will be more fun is when Clive is introduced to Cilke and Silver, and how they will respond.
Clive will have a interesting time getting acquainted with Rad when she is told to watch him closely.
There might be some trust issues, but Twinky will be able to prove that he’s the little talking skunk by stating “Um, I bit your fox friend the other day.”
Also, yes. There is a certain amount of “He’s cute!” from Chatin involved in this. If there isn’t, she needs her pulse checked.
