Well, at least Silver is already trained in Spec Ops and Survival, so she’s better equipped than most to handle this type of situation.
Although, I wonder if she’ll start wearing tougher jackets after this.

Silver should count her lucky stars that the shot just landed on her shoulder. However, given that the area had a lot of cover, it doesn’t really surprise me.

Why are they shooting at something running through the woods without knowing what it is? Or getting a good shot? And its wearing clothes? Even Rednecks have better discipline, what if they hit (and kill) someone?

It’s simple, really: they’re not thinking. At all. They’re letting fear rule them. I doubt they’ve even really noticed she’s wearing clothes, being too hung up on the werewolf (aka monster) part. Unfortunately, the fear of the unknown is strong, and one of the more common responses is to try to destroy the unknown thing.

I would say its more fear of the stupid than the unknown. They qualify for the Darwin Awards.
