Last update for the chapter!
For those who may not have noticed my notes further down. My laptop is off for repairs and will not be back until after July 9th. :( I stopped everything for a week so I could get two weeks worth of comics done and you'd only be out ONE week of updates and not two!
Also, there is a funding drive in play right now via Indiegogo with various forms of art as compensation!

TBH, when I think “back to basics”, I do not think “emergency subspace pocket”. Still I laughed at that “NEVER leave home without stocking the subspace emergency pocket.”

Call me… I don’t know what, but I’ve been wondering why Cyantian foxes only have four fingers while the rest of the races seem to still have five.

The general explanation is that Cyantian foxes were developed by adding human genes to the fox genome and other species were developed by adding animal genes to the human genome. A simpler way to explain it is that Terran scientists would classify Cyantian foxes as Vulpes Sapiens while classifying other Cyantians as Homo Sapiens Lupus or Homo Sapiens Felidae.

Ok. Forgive if I’m wrong, but foxes, like all canids, technically have five digits (four toes and a dew claw often in place of a “thumb”). What happened to digit #5 for the foxes?

They are genetically incompatible with wolves and other canids, so were physically modified that way.
