It so isn’t your fault that something as demented and twisted as Rama decided to hurt an innocent simply due to a familiar scent. But it does show real class to step up and be a decent, honorable person and help care for a cub like that. Go Syrys.
There’s a chance that Syrys caring for Riven could backfire, as Riven might blame Syrys if he finds out the connection.
But, I don’t think that will happen. It’s mainly a gut feeling, but I think that Riven will end up at least not hating Syrys, as Syrys has rescued him and provided medical treatment.
Plus, Riven might actually have family to go back to. Hopefully. If not, at least he’ll have an extra bit of help along the way.
