This is the same Mekussa that Chatin and Cilke wanted to be returned to when Syrys was taking them out of the Facility in Genoworks Saga.

Read Genoworks Sega (the first chapter or two at least). Mekussa appears in there as an adult in the beginning part.

Mekussa wasn’t a geneticist, she was a professional mother.

Yup, Mekussa was a teacher/mother figure. Ceigan is a geneticist. Also, they are considered adults at a younger age.
