  1. Remember what I said about sniper rifles and unprotected heads?

    1. They’re sparring. Indoors.

      1. If this isn’t about what to wear on a battlefield, why is Syrys the only one not wearing a helmet?

  2. Sparring against someone who’s centuries older and who has been through multiple wars. The cubs are in for a long uphill battle.

They’ll be grateful for that later, if they ever need that training.

    1. Yeah, I feel sorry for them.

Especially since trying to charge a machine-gun emplacement requires a bit of a different strategy than trying to charge an acclaimed knight (for slightly understated values of “a bit”).

      1. They’re sparring to learn those techniques.

Also, Syrys is several feet taller than them, the cubs are padded, and the cubs have been instructed that they’re to go for body blows.

        1. I think you replied to the wrong post.

        2. Two replies for the price and space of one! It’s the new space saving single reply bargain!

        3. Scratch that, I think there may be a misunderstanding. I was talking about how training like this will be useless in the Centralis-Teraplex War. Especially since I don’t see any smoke grenades, cover, artillery support, or LMGs.

  3. … We still don’t know exactly how the Centralis Teraplex War was fought, exactly, or how long it was. We also don’t know the exact armaments that the invading side had, the range of the engagements, or if either side could use artillery at all.

    1. Considering how the Centralis Teraplex War is being treated as a “Noodle Incident”, I’d take fault at your use of the word “still”.
