exactly. If you would place it to Harz or Lüneburger Heide instead of Schwarzwald it would work. For about 10 years now there are wolfs again. Originately coming from Poland and crossed the river Oder.
Some singles leave the family packs looking for a partner and new area. One has been in my area for some years now. Unfortunately run over by a car in Netherlands only few miles away some weeks ago.
To be honest. Usually nobody recognizes them. The wolf in my area only once made it to the news, when she was new she killed some sheep. The next years just quiet in the area. Most people are happy to have them back. They are few only. One had to be shot since he was not afraid of humans enough. Followed some people but was probably more interested in their dog since that single was looking for a partner.
