It may not be apparent at the moment that they are not speaking the same language. I didn't want to waste room with text explanations.
One of the things that the Digni really like is HOT and SPICY food. It really warms a person up. :) I love this aspect of them and wish I had shown them more. I may have to have a Digni cook in Koyoti's Howl when I get around to doing that one.

It just occured to me that it is extremely unlikely that Terrans and Cyantians would evolve to be receptive to the same chemicals. Basically, what that means is that Cisco shouldn’t have recognized the “Digni spice” as hot and Digni would have no response to capsaicin. While it is rather obvious that Cyantia was picked by the Rumuah for the similarity between proteins there and here, it would have been virtually impossible to account for this.
