Just a little update since things didn’t work out the way they were supposed to. I have not begun inking the next pages of Darius and decided for my own sanity that it would be best to go ahead and finish updating Genoworks Saga to the end of its chapter until I’m ready. Likely in a few weeks. Have to lay out the pages and create templates and such fun stuff.

Genoworks Saga WILL be updating Monday through Friday this week and hopefully next week. I’m also open for small commissions and badges – see details here on Fur Affinity. They start at $20 for digital color.

Yeah, I have Furry Fiesta in less than a month and am making preparations of items to bring and pondering a price list – which means I seriously need to ASK what you all would like (and if you are coming to Furry Fiesta. Also going to ask about anime, since I have A-kon in six months and must make a profit this time. Answer even if you have no intention to buy, but please don’t say: If I had the money – or anything like that. Never make that comment to any artist, that’s not what we’re looking for. Last year, I overdid quite a few items, as in… I did more work than I should have. This year, I’m going to PRECUT everything to restrain myself. Everything is colored with watercolors and/or copic markers.

On the slate: I’m going to work up a price list for the following. Now, my list is usually on par with the market, but I’m making more restrictions this year and doing samples, so let me know what you think a fair price is for the following items (I’ve put in what I’m going to put on them.):

Custom Bookmarks - These will be hand drawn/colored etc AND heat laminated as a commission with a hole for also using as a name tag. They will come with a tassel as well as a metal grommet where the hole is, ring and Hang tag.
They will be 2″ x 6″ in size.

Black and White? -$6
Color? – $10

Name Badges – Same as above – differences are that I’m going to have several sets of ‘themed’ badges. Bone – Hanging Around – Tails – Chibi – Double Sided – Pinata – Animal Form – Victorian and Steam punk. Each badge will be done on a 4″ x 6″ sized sheet. I figure having examples will help people out who … lack imagination.

Color? – $25

Perfect Bound Notebooks + Pencil Boards - 25 or 50 sheet 4.5 x 5.5 notebooks or 25 to 50 sheet 4 x 6s or 8.5 x 5.5. Interiors will be either blank with a small black and white image on the corners of each page or lined.. or completely blank or recycled papers, like notebook paper. Covers will consist of either a photograph or on the 8.5 x 5.5 ones, a very firm board that has been covered with a nice photo and other papers to make a book. The larger ones are debatable on if they will be perfect bound or spiral bound. 25 sheets = 50 pages, 50 = 100. They will all come with ribbon bookmarks.

The pencil boards I’m going to make will likely be just a little larger than 4 x 6 in size and are to be used in conjunction with the smaller notebooks. They will be double sided, laminated pictures matching the covers of the journals and will fit inside to give one a firm surface to work with. I will also be doing separate boards meant to be used for sketchbooks to keep things from bleeding through – something which I’m surprised more people don’t use. I MIGHT give those away to people whom I’m doing sketchbooks for who have a lot of color art.

Notebook bundle: 2 small notebooks (25 sheets/50 pages) plus matching mini pencil board – $10 – Still unsure if I want to do the 50 sheet ones.. those things are THICK. I have one I’m carrying around in my purse and it’s holding up perfectly, but that many sheets may be too many.)
One Mini Notebook: $5
One Mini Board: $3
Large Notebook: 8.5 x 5.5 with hard covers – 25 sheets/50 pages – $7 (The cool thing is…. these are being upcycled, they’re neat Blockbuster dividers with movie and tv series on them, some of which will not be covered if they’re anime or simply … cool. )
Large Pencil board: $10 – I may make some of these gold… love the gold paper I have.

Pendants I have glass pendants of different sizes and will be branching out this year. You can see a lot of them on Artfire. I made a bunch last year, many of which will be dropping in price (if they lack the Aanraku or Atarah bails) for the convention season. I want to clear out the experiments so that they all look the same in the future. There’s nothing wrong with them. (I have chains too.)
