    I wonder how the foxes learned to make psychic critters too?

    If her people didn’t make the abilities, then how were the foxes clued into such abilities?

      The fox scientists experimented. It is mentioned in the Wiki that the first batch of any new type of person has a low success rate, and improvements are made of later batches.

      That’s why Collin and Quinn are more powerful than their elder sirac kin. But, the fox never realized that because Collin was TOO sensitive and Quinn helped him suppress his abilities.

        The Rumuah may not be able to create “special-skilled” creatures, but the Moulin Phedra did. There’s the possibility that some Squid genetic technology was left on Cyantia after the war and the Foxes may have put their hands on it somehow.
