Oh dear. I think I know why Rama hired (or possibly bought) Kamden now. And it’s not a happy reason.
I checked the Genoworks Saga archives, and I’m still not sure if Kamden (The Sirac) is one of the Siracs that Collin and Quinn met just before leaving the Genoworks facility with Syrys. There’s one that looks a bit like Kamden, but his fur doesn’t quite match up.
Filaire already stated that they’d already gathered enough information to break all of the cubs and turn them to Rama’s side. Kamden just makes it worse. But, I already mentioned that when Quinn was being told about him.
Although, I wonder if Filaire really found out as much as she thought she did about the cubs. What she’s sees as weaknesses might be traps for a prying mind.
I dunno why everyone seems worried. Obviously they’re going to escape or be rescued, except maybe Vin. They’re the protagonists, and they appear later in Campus Safari 😛

Actually, it looks more like she is trying to calm the horse down. At least to me. That is what I’d expect her to do.
