  1. “Master Flying Rhino’s armor, with authentic battle damage!”

  2. Everything covered except the tail. I wonder how many old war vets lost theirs in combat.

Minor joking aside, the promised battle is coming I bet.

    1. Either the one on the left is a rabbit, or his tail is missing. πŸ™‚

      1. It’s a rabbit. Just look at the ears.

        1. Yeah, I saw that. Was just teasing. Before I did see it though I’d never thought of the rabbits as a fighter type.

    2. I’ll bet they don’t consider tails worth the effort. That’ll change the first time they get in a chemical fight.

  3. Is that Michelangelo or Donatello in the lead? It’s hard to tell if they don’t have their weapons out.

  4. k-THUNK. k-THUNK. k-THUNK.

All the jokes about “Master Chef Khaelis” seem somehow inadequate.

    1. Largely because Khaelis has this tendency to end up breaking his own limbs.

  5. From the mix of armor I’m guessing these are some of Rama’s mercenaries…

  6. “Remember men, walk forward, look cool, and try to not trip like you did last time!”

  7. looks a little like T51B power armor from fallout, though the paldrons are different

  8. Seriously? Power armor helmets don’t have to be form fitting. This is especially true when such extremities and ears and muzzles are in the picture.

    1. as* ears and muzzles

  9. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MST3KMantra πŸ˜‰
Sure, maybe tails should be covered, maybe helmets should be more generic… but this way it looks better. πŸ˜‰
And on the in-universe reasoning, hmm… maybe they want to keep them visible so the expressions can be seen?

    1. This isn’t about expressions, that doesn’t matter much in a combat scenario. Maybe 400 years of peace led to some stupidity in their design, or maybe these are of such a late generation that protruding ears aren’t that much of a problem.

  10. Now these are some stylish suits. πŸ˜€

  11. Wonder if there’s much of a market for prosthetic tails…

On the other hand; could you make a living will to donate your tail for transplanting?

    πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

    1. Just remember: If you’re aiming for a tail while in a battle, you’re doing it wrong!

Stray shots to the tail might happen, but they’re probably as common as getting shot in the butt is on Earth!

      1. Well, this started out as a joke, but… πŸ™‚
Stray shots, yeah. I’m thinking more of shrapnel and fire. Considering their prominence and potential for stylishness (Hi, Cilke!) a lost or disfigured tail could be something of an emotional problem for people. Have it happen during combat and just the physical pain coupled with the emotional trauma could be seriously detrimental to your fighting skills.

  12. Heavy lifts?

  13. One suit looks like a ninja turtle, one looks like a ninja CAT, and the last one looks just plain bada** (the one on the left). Maybe it’s because it looks vaguely like Master Chief.
