  1. It is my hypothesis that the Cyantians require a lot more calories per day than a human (and thus starvation is a more serious threat). They have large brains (at least as big and complex as a human’s) in addition to fur and muscle strength, all of which require a lot of energy. Of course, keeping warm also expends energy.

I wonder how long that bag of food will last?

    1. Possibly. Syrys definitely needs more than an ordinary human just based on size alone. Syrys (and other wolves) are also likely to have faster metabolisms than humans.

The cubs though, they’re probably very close to human normal. They’re not only designed off of a feline base, that feline template was also created from a human base.

Well, that and their fur will make keeping warm a little easier.

  2. Well, it’s about to be refilled with fresh protein… very fresh. 😉

    1. ‘Corn Steak, as a matter of fact.

  3. And in our next stripe we find Syrus propped up again a bare skeleton, with a pop belly. When asked by the kids, all he can mutter is a sicking belch….

  4. Bear in mind Syrys is also an Elite Wolf, and the healing factor probably increases his need for caloric intake significantly. I doubt any of the kits need a lot compared to human children of the same “age”.

(EG products age rapidly until around puberty, so their “age” is greater than how long they’ve been alive.)

    1. Although, come to think of it, their rapid aging might increase their appetite during the high growth years..

      1. Very good point.

  5. Anytime free food is offered, eat up! No telling when the next meal will be or how much effort will be required to get it.
