  1. Whoa, Vin has some serious power if he can knock Rama off his feet.

  2. * Twitch… twitch…*

Too bad Plot Armor ^(TM) kept it from being fatal.

    1. That and Elite genes.

  3. Vin caught Rama by surprise. Filaire’s entrance distracted Rama and kept him from noticing Vin’s power buildup.

If Rama thought Vin could do something like that, he’d either have defenses up or simply knocked Vin out. Rama simply didn’t expect that out of Vin.

Run indeed. Rama has a can of whoopass with an easy-opening top for just such occasions.

  4. Now she want to run?

    1. Rama out cold, bomb ticking with who knows how much time left, the Akaelaes coming down hard? Darn right she’s gonna run. Rama was gonna kill (or at least injure) her. There is not a place to be when he wakes up.

Assuming the bomb doesn’t blow first.

  5. I would be yelling TAKE THE SHOT like I do in many episodes of Transformers and other shows.

If its all the same I doubt that Rama could survive loss of a head.

    1. They don’t have a gun.

Vin also agrees that as far away from his potentially rapidly awakening father is the best place to be, and he’ll figure out what to make of Filaire’s recent change of heart later.

Right now, Freedom from Rama is what Vin needs and he’s probably going to get it!

  6. That’s why Filare should have picked up the knife… of course, in video games when an enemy is “incapacitated” it’s a coin toss as to whether you can finish them off before they can get back on their feet. 🙁

  7. I guess the best for Vin would be if he finds his way back to the Akaelaes.

    1. Yeah, but it won’t happen anytime soon, I think.

  8. Filaire is looking a little scared of Vin.

    1. I think it´s more the fact that the clock isn ticking and Filair knows that the bomb could explode every moment.

    2. Well, Vin just knocked out one of the most powerful Cyantians who has ever lived in the space of about a nanosecond. He also doesn’t remember doing that or having voluntary control over that impulse, which means it might be a instinctual reaction that could go off at any time (for as far as Filaire knows). So, yeah, she has every reason to be terrified of Vincent. I’d be scared too.

  9. If it takes a lightning bolt to taze an Elite, well, sweet good gracious, how much charge do you have to dump into them to actually OFF them?

    1. Not sure, but even Humans can survive a lightning strike, though I’m not certain what that ratio is. It would depend on the conditions, like if Rama was wearing body armor similar to Filaire’s.

Personally, though, I’d ditch the uncertain electricity and opt for a Browning .50 cal machine gun myself. The simplest solution is often the best.

      1. I’ll take a Bofors 40mm. That, at least uses explosive tipped ammo.

  10. I have to admit, it’s rather big of Filaire to bother and get Vin running after she was the reason for him being here in the first place.

She could have just left him. Either it’s her following the three driving her decision or the fact that the enemy forces are almost their.

    1. Or a change of heart with regards to everything she’s been doing for Rama. 🙂

  11. I thought that girl was a lot bigger than him…
