That would be a very long and suspicious phone call considering Mars varies from 5 to 20 light-minutes away from Earth. And before you say they’re using faster than light communication, I say nuh-uh, if they’re communicating with Earth satellites, they have to be using ordinary electromagnetic radiation because the Earth satellites wouldn’t be able to receive any some weird as-yet undiscovered form of energy.
