An interesting development. I would certainly like to watch Darrik learn about his own abilities. He’ll certainly then be able to put Lucas in his proper place then. That ought to be interesting, too.

I seen that too, I thought it was pretty funny ho the ear looks like it’s in Vincents mouth when it isn’t too :P… someone forgot to eat breakfast, wonder when either one will notice? XD, ok but seriously, not impressed, I could tell from the Jypsy look early on that that would be an obvious claim.

@ xenomorph22, yes I know he started out as a black fox, I was just wondering if his secret was out if he had to continue the deception, or would he simply revert to his natural colouring?
@xenomorph22: Dunno – while we’ve seen Celina in some of the “later” works (later in the Cyantia world timeline that is), we haven’t seen Vin. This however means little – both Celina and Vin have centuries to take care of business after all, and even the Mars Academy stuff is only like 10 or so years into the future of the Akaelae timeline. From what we’ve seen so far though, Celina seems to show her sweet side to Vin — which is something that just about nobody else ever gets from her (most of whom would probably argue long and hard that Celina doesn’t *have* a sweet side and never did 🙂 ).
@Aquila audax: I’d say Darrik has to continue the deception — I don’t think Mercial counts as an “outsider” really – she’s a genetic elite fox herself (and thus on the top of the hit list for the current bastards-in-charge of the Fox government) – also, I think her employer of the moment also gets her absolute discretion – working for heads of state and being a blabbermouth is a deadly combination and she’s plenty smart enough to realize this (and I’m sure she gets paid well). I think all of the other Akaelae cubs are aware of what Darrik is — the problem is that they don’t want the general populace to find out – and especially certain factions that would seek to grab him and use him for their own ends (indeed, that’s why he’s on Cyantia in the first place).
@xenomorph22: the board auto-converts certain text emoticons – that was just the simple colon closing-paren smilie – just make sure to have a space before and after the emoticon. Let’s see, since these comments will get deleted anyway, why not try to see what emoticons work 🙂 :b 😀 😉 XD
Aquila Audax: Keep in mind, Celina has shown attraction/kindness to both Vin and Kel, so she could end up with either of them. Or someone new for that matter.
Also, Mercial might have taken on a half dozen or a dozen students at a time. Plus, the training period could be anywhere from a couple of weeks to several years. It would depend on how extensive the potentials abilities are. It could also be that once a certain level of basic mastery is achieved, the teacher is no longer needed and all that’s left is to practice practice practice.
