  1. Is it just me, or is the purple miniwhip checking the brownish whip out? Even if she’s not, she still looks very cheerful about something.

I wonder if Mr. Caramel there is about to take off and investigate the noisy visitors that are disturbing the normally quiet halls.

  2. Maybe he’ll land on Darriks head. A sneak attack would be sweet.:)

  3. *Ms Purple Miniwhip* MMM he looks so handsome…
*Mr Carmel* Hey You Fox.. I was taking a swim with my girlfriend do you mind?
Hehehe MM maybe not. But yes she does look like she’s checking out the carmel miniwhip.

  4. To me it looks like Purple is just doing the “eye smile”, you know: ^_^

So… are miniwhips available to anyone or are they costly luxury pets, or do you have to know someone who has a breeding pair or what? *wants one*

  5. They’re a very inexpensive pet on the level of a dog or cat in achievability, although they can actually survive if abandoned much easier than a dog or cat. They’re great for controlling pests of any kind. (Don’t forget that some breeds of them are poisonous.)

  6. I presume, then, that the Acid in Acid Whip stands for more than the color?

  7. All of the Whips breath a hypergolic acid, which burns burns when it comes in contact with air. The smaller whips, I think just some of the miniwhips (though perhaps all miniwhips) have a venom that is comparable in strength to rattlesnake venom. Although it is described as a muscle relaxant, so I’m not sure if it is as fatal as rattlesnake venom.

Whips also get the title whips because use their tails and the spikes on their tails as a defense/offense. Even the miniwhips can raise welts on a person’s skin. Said spikes are usually hiden in protective flaps of skin which reduce wind resistance and prevent “happy scythetail dance” situations.

For those who don’t know, a “happy scythetail dance” requires a minimum safe distance. Or armor. Those tails hurt when they hit.

    1. A muscle relaxant as strong as rattlesnake venom? ‘Cause I read that as “you’ll s**t yourself to death”.
