I have a feeling they are probably planning to sneek out and look for this demond horse this phooka, or nightmare if you will and they are probably going to somehow coax, or drag Vin and Darrik into this.
And now… Alex wants in.
BTW i think this is the first time we are seeing Alex in Akaelae.
Didn’t her parents die in a fire? I wonder how, and why the king adopted her.
Hariman Micr Ciar.. Why, does that sound familiar????? i did a wiki serch and found nothing. Noodle incident?
Now I feel bad for Alex, though I don’t remember ever seeing her before, but if she’s sensitive about being human (is she?) this is just going to drive the point home and make her feel more excluded.
vulpinewarrior, I don’t know about “Micr Ciar”, but the Noodle incident is a reference to Calvin & Hobbes. Nobody ever explains what it was, but it’s often referenced, usually with implications that Calvin was behind it, despite his protests to the contrary.
This page is… intriguing, to say the least. Those three are definitely up to something…
Micr Ciar is a dish featured in Campus Safari/No Angel. Although Daemonschile did beat me to posting the link.
Sirbacon already pointed out the origin of the Noodle Incident. “Noodle Incidents” are that incident that is often mentioned, but never explained. Noodle Incidents are frequently used for blackmail, as they are usually so humiliating or disruptive/disastrous that the perpetrator never wants the truth to come out.

Several thoughts for other replies run through my head.
“Miniwhips. Cute fluffy miniwhips!”
“Boys, er, nothing!”
Also, the threats of the elder sisters also come to mind.
“We’ll tell them who triggered the Micr Ciar Incident.” (AKA: The Noodle Incident)
“If you tell, we know where you sleep, we LIVE where you sleep…”
“Bright purple fur with neon green spots and an orange tutu…”
Of course, now I’m REALLY looking forward to finding out what they’re plotting/whispering about!

They’re acting like they got their paws caught in the treat box.

Probably involves a sleeping Alex and a bowl of warm water.

This link: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/NoodleIncident Highlights Noodle Incidents and gives a more complete explanation. Just be careful, it’s easy to lose hours to that website.
