Spike has created ANOTHER beautiful Halloween picture featuring Quinn - I think this one is my favorite, because of all the kitties. You can get more information about it here! And download the wallpaper here! BTW, anyone want a fluffy white kitten? I think one spilled out of the wallpaper and into our parking lot. Just spent half an hour chasing the little furrball and it was NOT happy to be caught. It's white, with a neat looking grey mask, just like a raccoon!

  1. Wish I could support you Tiff, really I do. However, I have the misfortune of being a smidgen over poverty. You know what the worse part of it is? I have a college level education and an immaculate work ethic. I have a certificate in the culinary arts. I spent well over a year putting my entire life into my passion for cooking(baking actually). Seriously, I dragged my a** to work after being brutally assaulted on the street. I willingly worked for several hours until they could replace me, I was willing to work the whole day if my boss couldn’t get somebody to cover my shift. Oh yeah, I got hit by a car ’bout a month and half ago. Still showed up to work, didn’t bother to mention it until week later. I didn’t get hit hard enough to break anything, just some bruised ribs. Still hurt like hell.

I have the skills, experience, and work ethic. The only thing holding me back is the economy, nobody is hiring. At the college the head chef was constantly bombarded with calls from employers seeking interns, usually hoping to acquire skilled staff. All those juicy opportunities dried up in no more than half a decade. By the time I got there I had to beg and plead for an internship. I worked under a prick who all but destroyed my passion for my career, the final spike in my future career as a chef came not from without, but from within. I realized my work ethic, experience, and creativity were worthless in a crappy economy. Ideally the economy going to hell hit Arizona harder than anywhere else, as our state has always been poor. F***. I was planning on going back for a degree after I completed my certificate. So I would have the hundreds of hours of hands-on experience and all the finer points of my chosen profession only attainable through a degree.

Though I completed my certificate I never went back for that degree. What’s the point in learning skills for a job you will never obtain?

  2. Didn’t intend for that huge wall of text. Sorry ’bout dragging my personal life into this and venting. I just hate feeling helpless.

    1. Sometimes it’s good to vent.

  3. Harry Potter Quinn? That’s just perfect!

  4. I would love a kitten, but I probably don’t live anywhere near you ):
If all else fails, give to a no-kill shelter or a foster/nursery for kittens. I got my kitten from one of those. Or TNR, although it’s getting awfully cold out to let it go again… ):

  5. Common places to find Quinn the Kittymancer?

Anywhere that someone needs cheered up! She’s down at the orphanage right now and she’ll be visiting the local hospitals later this week.

Not only are kitty spectres hypoallergenic, Kittymancers have learned how to convert the joy caused by them into an efficient fuel for their magic!

After all, why eat kids when one “Summon Kitty Spectre” spell can fuel a month’s worth of magic?

  6. Wait, I thought she just had magical powers, not that she was a witch who delved into dark magic! XD

    1. Tiff just likes to expand on her powers. There have already been several pictures that compare Quinn to the common Terran representation of a witch, like the one with her flying in front of the moon.
