I really hate in any species the people that maltreat frightened cubs in that way… I always enjoy teaching those retarded good manners. Cubs usually enjoy this part, I’m a good teacher 😀

I’ve always had the impression that much of genoworks staff has this jerk of a fox’s attitude toward their creations. It would certainly explain much of Cilke’s and other people’s loathing of Genoworks Exotica’s staff if the bulk of the staff were like this. Although it is possible that this is a military fox and it isn’t quite this bad when the military isn’t in charge.
Unfortunately, my opinion “not quite that bad” is still pretty low. There’s a reason the “experiments” would run away if given the chance.
The skunks and Cere’s group of Roos were lucky to have Mekussa and Ceigan in charge of them.

No wonder Collin is so nervous and mistrustful in later years, especially the first Akaelae years. I remember this part as a prequel that had been part of Akaelae archives. I was surprised to see it back, as when it had been taken down, it had been stated that only those who’d by the books could see it again. It is good to see this though, as I missed being able to see the skunkies’ and racoons’ start. *glares at the mean fox*
