  1. “Because foxes have an innate sense of direction.”

    “No we don’t.”

“Oh, you did take orienteering and basic land-bound navigation then, right?”

    “…”

    1. I’m actually very intrigued as to what Silver means by “back to basics”. She doesn’t know how the stars are supposed to be and doesn’t have a regular map. Although her phone could double as a compass, I highly doubt “back to basics” would mean that. She most likely doesn’t have access to the Global Positioning System and the sun isn’t anywhere around to shed some light (pardon the bad pun) on the matter.

  2. I just discovered this strip and am quite impressed by the concept, artwork, character design, dialogue and plot. It is very imaginative and I have bookmarked it for reading future installments. Keep up the good work.

  3. You know, if her communicator were as feature-rich as a lot of Terran ones, she probably wouldn’t have much of a problem. Especially if she can get a direct link to Mars.

  4. Why would the stars be no help? I don’t know a thing about constellations or whatnot myself, but if I am lost at night and the stars are visible, it takes the humble Fred about 3 seconds looking around the sky to determine where North is, North is directly below the point the stars are all rotating around. Stupid alien, doesn’t even know about planets rotating, how did they ever fly spaceships.

    1. They aren’t from Earth, so none of them are all that great reading constellations on Earth. 😀
