Actually it’s not, the primary thing injuries do is hinder or prevent you from being able to move so being injured is most likely to ensure you can’t regenerate. It’s like it’s built to torture whoever has it and turn them into shock trooper cannon fodder because they HAVE to force themselves to move around no matter how badly injured if they want any hope of surviving.
