It may also be a case of the Cyantian sensitivity to drug / chemical dosages. It’s been stated that they’re notoriously sensitive, to the point of needing under 1/3 the dose a human would need for the same effect.

No, there are dangerous spiders. Babys can die from brown spider bite, the australian funnel web spider is deadly, phoneutria fera – the notorious banana spider from brasil. And you dont know about the physiology of the black fox people.

A spider bite can be deadly to them? Interesting. I would think that much like us, spider bites are greatly unpleasant at worst.
