I believe he’s a good candidate for the ‘Too Stupid To Live’ TVtrope. He SHOULD know that there are plenty of things around looking to kill you. Heck even ignoring the alien and supernatural he’s running around in a wilderness area where all sorts of predators exist yet he acts completely unaware of how dangerous things are and displays no care or caution about anything. In the average horror film he’s like the first idiot to die and often right after going ‘you’re just being paranoid, there’s nothing to worry about here’ in some fashion.
That boy has taken “Spirit of Adventure,” combined it with “Spirit of Recklessness,” added in a cup of “Spirit of Obliviousness,” and cooked up a heaping of “Spirit of Misadventure.”
I think she’s been alone and on the run long enough that now that she’s got someone she can spend time with and talk to she’s not really able to just leave him to live or die on his own as she’d have to go back to being alone and no idea what to do.
Its a case of dumb and dumber. With Draco for being dumb for doing what hes doing. Jenny is dumber for following him and not dragging his ass out. I mean at the very least Jenny is dangerous, Draco didn’t even bring a weapon! Though I think Draco is at so dumb, he’ll obliviously wander through danger unscathed while Jenny ensures its dealt with
