Well, if I remember correctly, our young Cyantian here is one of the few that actually like Rollies. He is just too cute though. I am so glad we get to visit his storyline and find out what happened to him after he had to be left behind.
Original run of Campus Safari, and also Akaelae. Rollies are basically very large pillbugs. The Digni love them, and have multiple ways of serving them. In the past we’ve seen honey rollies, which I would assume are a sweet treat, while in this comic they’re talking about a savory dish. 🙂 Some Cyantians think they’re gross, though Darrik liked them before he learned what they are.
Yeah, in general non native Cyantians like the wolves and fox prefer to eat larger prey type food and bugs are only eaten if there’s nothing else. They consider it a trash food. 😀
Scientist have tasted pill bugs for real to judge what the deep water version would taste like. They taste like urine and ammonia. RL they are loaded with Urea just like Shark flesh.
