It’s good that she’s finally realized that her ‘I’ll do whatever it takes to succeed at my goals’ decision has been destroying her, turning her into a monster no better than the one she served or those she’s hated. She’s entered into accepting it wasn’t worth it and begun the process of atonement and making amends, even if it means she won’t complete her goals she will at least have saved her soul.
