Depends on Filaire’s mood I imagine. Having been burned twice by Rama in one day (the bomb + note, siccing his bully-boys on her a few minutes ago her time), the only question would rightly be: Abandon Rama in return, or put him out of his misery for all the consideration he’s given her.
Actually help him? On Earth we have this parable about kind man who saved a snake…
The smart (or at least cagey) money says Rama might be faking it, so abandoning him seems the wisest choice.
Yeah. They do need to get out of there. Right after they pick up a few friendly survivors.
Vorlonagent: I think Filaire’s learned her lesson about helping a person like Rama. And personally, I use the term “person” loosely when applying it to Rama.
The question now is going to be if Filaire stops to dig out the wounded survivor, or runs right past him (perhaps with a guilty look) in effort to save Vin and herself.
I would bet, though, that if she tries to leave the trapped fox behind, Vin will stop and start digging…which may or may not result in him being hauled off by the scruff by a ticked off vixen.
I really like the poses and expressions in the first panel, for some reason.
And considering how this blue fox sounds, I’m expecting him giving out his last gasp on their hands Hollywood-style. 🙁 (And I hate Hollywood tropes.)

Vin really caught Rama flatfooted.

Only three fingers = fox. Also, very dark hands. That’s not Rama. (Thank goodness!)
jinxed
*Four fingers actually, but nonetheless, it’s not Rama
Iron Ed
Three fingers + one thumb. 🙂

Were there any named blue foxes in the group?
Iron Ed
None -I- recall, but I seem to forget that stuff a lot.

This is turning out to be an AMAZING climax to the Akaelae/ Darius story. This is the first thing I check every weekday morning. :3

I doubt that. Filaire’s already had at least two shocks to her system today, so I don’t think she needs another to get the point.
